Näkötorni

Näkötorni is kind of observation tower. If you want to go to Näkötoni you have to climb up to slope first wich is about 350 meters long. After that you climb up stairs to get top of Näkötorni. When you are up in näkötorni you can see almost whole Karstula or you can use pinoculars to see places more closely. Näkötorni is located in about 3 km away from Karstula's centre. Next to näkötorni is wicket place where you can roast sausages in campfire.

Lapland

Lapland is Finland's the most popular nature destination. There you can enjoy about beautiful nature and views. Rovaniemi is located in Lapland and Santa Claus' home is there. It is very popular tourist attraction. In Lapland you can see wild reindeers and tamed reindeer. Part of the winter sun doesn't rise at all. Many people come to Lapland to downhill skiing at winter. In addition you can see some beautiful northern lights. In summer you can go to hiking and swim in very clear watered lakes.

                            Lapland
I´m going to tell you about Finland’s Lapland. So here we go…
Lapland is very beautiful place all year round. Mountains look really good when sun is shining and snow is glowing. I have visited there only in
Ylläs and Levi. They are ski resorts. There are also many other ski resorts like Ruka and Pyhä.
When I have been Lapland I have been snowboarding. There can also ski and do other stuff. I think that Lapland, especially in winter is the most beautiful place in Finland. I think is worth the experience to see and feel Lapland.

Here´s couple of photos that I have been taken at Ylläs. It´s so stunning when you see it at your own eyes.

Place you have to visit
I think the most beautiful place is Lapland. The internet is full-on pictures about Lapland and everyone should go check them. Ruska is also beautiful. It´s like fall colors.
Revontulet called northern lights are popular all around the world. I think everyone should go Lapland and see Finland’s beauty.

I take these photos on google…

Luvattumaa

Luvattumaa is a popular ski cafe and spa in Levi. It's located 7 kilometres from the centre of Levi. You can get there by car, snowmobile or then you can ski. Landscape during the ski trail is absolutely beautiful. There is a spa, a restaurant and during the winter season the Levi Ice Gallery opens its doors. The gallery is full of ice statues. There is rooms where furnitures are made of ice.

An important nature site to me

An important nature site to me is Tourujoki nature trail in Jyväskylä, Central Finland. I went there with my aunt and her family last summer. The scenery was really beautiful. The nature was so peaceful and quiet there. Nature trail rose really high and because I’m afraid of high places I was truly scared. Overall I was having so much fun there and I got it a good exercise.

A place worth a visit

I think if you come to Finland, you have to visit a place called Suomenlinna. If you translate Suomenlinna it is Finland’s castle. Suomenlinna is a sea fortress located in Helsinki the capital of Finland. Construction began in 1748 when Sweden’s king Fredrik I approved a plan to begin to build a fortress.

Suomenlinna is itself a beautiful place but there are also three parks; Piper’s park, Church park and Casino park. I went there last summer with my family and I have to say that the trip there was awesome. It is so beautiful there and it feels like you are in a movie. Speaking about some of the places look like the land of the Hobbits.
In 1991, the Suomenlinna fortress was added to the UNESCO World Heritage List as a unique monument of military architecture.

Erasmus week in Finland

We had Turkish and Italian people in Finland for a week. Every day we had something to do. First day we had Karstula tour which included almost everything worth of seeing in Karstula. Then next days we went to Jyväskylä town for shopping and eating, to Tuuri,s kyläkauppa and Ähtäri zoo, one day we had a disco and another day we went to rafting. We went bowling and we also spent evenings at our houses where everyone gathered. It was a very fun week!
